In the age of surveillance capitalism, the most valuable
fruit grows in the shadows. Blind Spot explores 12 concepts
from Shoshana Zuboff’s "The Age of Surveillance Capitalism", dissecting how data, harvested from the unlit corners of our digital lives, becomes the fuel of a vast and invisible system.
By drawing attention to the opaque architecture of data extraction, Blind Spot challenges the asymmetry of power that renders us subjects of an economy built on exploitation. Through this lens, the project calls for a reckoning with the shadows, demanding vigilance, awareness, and resistance to reclaim autonomy
in a digitised world.
These "blind spots" represent what we cannot see—the residual traces we leave behind, the behaviours we fail to notice, and the emotions we unwittingly expose.
This project unveils how the unseen becomes the known, how patterns of human experience are distilled into tools of prediction and control.
